  • Rand generally firmer on the day, international markets subdued ahead of Friday’s US NFP data
  • Top 40 closed lower tracking European markets, US closes positive lending support to Asia this morning
  • US headline data disappoints with exception of ISM Services which posts large upside surprise, SA business confidence slumps to 30 year low
