Daily Market Commentary: 15 April 2019

Today we are taking a look at:

  • Yields grind lower after initial spike, thin liquidity conditions prevail
  • Oil started the week on a softer note after completing its longest run of weekly gains in three years as a report showing increased U.S. oil-rig activity took some heat out of the rally
  • S&P500 +0.66%; Financials index 1.93% as banks beat; the energy index lagged as Chevron & Exxon mobile slip with the former announcing a deal to buy Anadarko for $33bn
