Ata Capital Private Equity deal announcement

Acting as Mandated Lead Arranger and Funder, Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (Nedbank CIB) has successfully provided a preference share facility of approximately R1 billion that allowed Ata Capital to refinance its existing exposure while unlocking more liquidity for future investments.

The facility demonstrates Nedbank CIB’s strong commitment to a long-standing relationship with Ata Capital and unlocks additional liquidity for Ata Private Equity to pursue further acquisitive growth and diversify its portfolio.

This demonstrates Nedbank’s ability to structure bespoke preference share facilities for its holding entity clients.

Partnering with an impactful asset management company

Nedbank CIB is a long-standing, trusted adviser and funder to Ata Capital Private Equity. The funding solution that was put in place supports a refinance of the existing exposure, enhances pricing, and extends the tenor to ensure an optimal long-term capital structure in line with the permanent capital nature of the holding company.
