The Ansarada DealMakers Awards is a highly respected annual event that recognises the most impactful transactions in the South African corporate finance industry.

We are honoured to receive 2 awards at the ANSARADA DealMakers Awards 2023.
Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking is proud to announce that its Corporate Finance Team has won 2 coveted Ansarada DealMakers Awards and has been adviser to one of the shortlisted deals of the year.
The Nedbank Corporate Finance team secured 1st place in the category Sponsor Mergers and Acquisitions by Deal Flow, and 2nd place in the category Investment Advisers Mergers and Acquisitions by Deal Flow.
Another notable achievement was Nedbank being recognised for its part in one of the deals that was up for the prestigious Ansarada DealMakers Deal of the Year Award. Nedbank acted as corporate adviser and sponsor to Sun International Limited in its acquisition of Peermont Group, a transaction worth R7,3 billion and one of the largest land-based casino transactions in South African history. The transaction is expected to deliver significant value for various stakeholders, including Sun International shareholders, employees, and the wider community, and Nedbank is proud to have been part of this landmark transaction.
